The Southern Highlands acreage sold by Cameron McKillop and Ben Olofsen of The Agency, who are seeing "extremely strong" interest in lifestyle/rural property throughout the area.

This charming NSW country estate has been sold by Cameron McKillop and Ben Olofsen of The Agency for an undisclosed price.

Situated in the Southern Highlands village of Sutton Forest, the approximately 40,3066sqm property is bordered by large land holdings and captures views from Eling Forest to Oberon.

Interest in lifestyle/rural property continues to be extremely strong throughout the Southern Highlands.

The Agency’s Cameron McKillop told WILLIAMS MEDIA there was a “huge” amount of enquiry, but lockdowns made it difficult for some prospective buyers to inspect in person.

“The property saw some very strong interest throughout the campaign and was sold to a Sydney family looking for a country getaway via a Private Treaty campaign.”

Though the sale price was undisclosed, the 5-bedroom home with generously proportioned living areas was listed with a price guide of $4.5m.

Built in 2005 with a design by Fred Miniter of Pratt Miniter, the stonework of the homestead was crafted with stone sourced directly from the property.

“The home has had one owner and was beautifully crafted by the owners' two sons who are well known local stonemasons, J&J Stonewall Constructions,” Cameron explained to WILLIAMS MEDIA.
