The award-winning zero impact Donovan Hill Architect designed Alderley home sold above guide by Heath Williams and Tonia Ivanni of Place New Farm.
Alderley’s ‘Project Zero’ home designed by Queensland architect Brian Donovan of Donovan Hill Architects has been sold by Heath Williams and Tonia Ivanni of Place New Farm following a 3-week campaign.
The four-bedroom residence balances luxury with sustainability, winning the BVN Jury IDEA Award in 2015, and is located only seven kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD.

In total there were 210 in-person inspections prior to the sale and 3 virtual inspections.
“This is a unique property with great design pedigree and block size. It’s the perfect family home,” Heath told LUXURY LIST.

The buyers were a local architectural couple who were searching for a Donovan Hill property.
Brian Donovan crafted the home for a friend who wanted a carbon-neutral residence, repositioning the single-storey weatherboard on the approx. 810sqm block, adding a lower level and a new wing built from reclaimed materials.

Donovan likens the house to a medieval city or Roman abode – centred around a large courtyard, with domestic rooms along one side, recreation on the other and sleeping quarters behind.
