399 Brisbane Corso Yeronga for sale by Sarah Hackett and Matthew Foote of Place New Farm is a riverfront masterpiece ideally positioned in one of Brisbane’s most prestigious streets.
This landmark Yeronga home feels like an exclusive retreat tucked away in nature, with an approximately 15-metre frontage to the Brisbane River and a northern aspect looking across to tree-dotted Saint Lucia.
Intelligently designed by the renowned Luigi Rosselli Architects to complement its setting, the 5-bedroom property offers sizeable living across three levels, with a swimming pool, wine cellar and a five-car garage.

“I was in a national architectural jury some years ago and noticed that Queensland architects, particularly those in Brisbane, were the best in Australia, so I decided to accept a perfect brief for this project on the Brisbane River,” he said.

“We are proud of our front idea, with simple volumes with the skill and beauty of the stonework and a generous level garden,” Luigi told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.
"This house is designed as a long-ship ashore, with three decks overlooking the river,” he explained.
“The lower level has a swimming pool and a floating stair; the second level is the main entertaining area with plenty of space for the deck chairs; and the top floor has the Captain’s bridge extruded out of the master bedroom.”

“The climate and environment are ideal, the council and approval process are a dream next to Sydney, and the clients are mostly relaxed and friendly. Ideal conditions for a successful design. We also brought to Brisbane some new and fresh skills including our best sandstone mason from Sydney and more rigorous waterproofing methods,” he told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.

Interiors feature tongue-in-groove oak flooring, lofty 2.9-metre-high ceilings, full-height curved glass, with a magnificent curved staircase and a suspended concrete slab design.
Alongside the open-plan living and dining area on the middle level, a sleek kitchen displays a large breakfast bar, Carrara marble benchtops and a butler’s pantry, as well as a Gaggenau combi steam oven, two integrated Miele dishwashers, a Zip tap, a built-in Liebherr fridge/freezer and a Gaggenau induction cooktop.
A dedicated study, generous media room and an attached courtyard on this level provide excellent ‘break out’ spaces, while the large covered al fresco area encompasses an outdoor kitchen with a BeefEater barbecue and an integrated Liebherr wine and beverage fridge.

Upstairs, the opulent master suite features breathtaking river views, plus a walk-in robe and a luxe ensuite. There are three additional bedrooms and a well-appointed main bathroom on this level, with an ensuited fifth bedroom on the middle level that is ideal for guests or older generations.
Another living area on the ground level showcases an impressive fish tank, a wet bar and an accompanying bathroom.

Additional details include a middle-level laundry benefitting from a chute, Daikin 56-kilowatt four-system air-conditioning, a C-Bus home automation system, Cat 6 cabling in all rooms and rooftop gardens.
The property is well located, close to a slew of shops and dining options, a leisurely stroll from Jacaranda Park’s playgrounds and minutes from the heart of Brisbane’s CBD.
