It was home to the late Frank McAlary, known as Sydney’s WW II celebration “Dancing Man”, and was up for auction following the 2021 passing of Frank’s widow Patricia.

Roslyndale sold prior to auction to a local family for undisclosed price above the guide of $15m. The almost 1,000sqm property last sold in 1978 for $425,000.

“Last year’s strong market pace was unsustainable, and in general the market has returned to more normal levels, with good properties that tick all the boxes going well and the ones with a few 'wart's taking a bit longer.”
