Raby Bay waterfront mansion sold for $8.5m

A landmark home in an equally distinguished location has been sold by Joseph Lordi and Pamela Neilson of McGrath.

This sprawling, contemporary mansion on approx. 2,327 sqm of beach frontage land in Queensland’s Raby Bay has been sold by Joseph Lordi and Pamela Neilson of McGrath for $8,500,000 following a 45-day campaign.

The property sold post auction in a multiple offer situation for a suburb and bayside region record in Brisbane.”

The last recorded property record was $8.1 million, sold in the bayside area 10 years ago.

There were 45 inspections during the campaign, including 3 virtual. Joseph Lordi told WILLIAMS MEDIA there were a number of interstate buyers from Melbourne, specifically from Toorak, mostly looking to upsize.

“There are only 16 actual beach frontage properties in the area. We had a few expats show some interest however they couldn’t travel to the property,” Joseph explained to WILLIAMS MEDIA.

“We are finding things are moving very quickly. In the last 9 months, we have sold 4 properties north of $3,000,000 in the bayside region. All of these properties broke a record in their own right. We are urging our luxury clients to come on the market now and take advantage of the increased luxury property demand.”
