Speaking to LUXURY LIST WEEKEND, Drew Davies said there were 23 inspections during the 30-day campaign. 

“There was strong interest from local buyers especially looking for a true penthouse apartment with a large floorplan and usable outdoor entertaining. They are few and far between in the CBD,” Drew explained. 

“There was plenty of pre-auction interest in this property and online records show that $4m is the highest price achieved in the CBD since 2019.” 

The larger floorplan attracted many downsizers and interstate buyers especially those interested in a riverfront apartment with spectacular views and plenty of outdoor entertianing space, as well as existing residents in the building who were looking to upsize, including the successful buyer.

Drew told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND the premium end of the Brisbane market remains attractive to buyers.

“We are seeing the high end market continue to push forward, especially with apartments,” he said.
