Unique landscaped estate on Brisbane's Hamilton Hill sold prior to auction to a local family by Matt Lancashire and Christine Rudolph of Ray White New Farm.
Perched high atop Hamilton Hill, 19-21 Ludlow Street, an estate of 2400sqm (approx) sold for $5.1 million to a local Brisbane family prior to auction.
WILLIAMS MEDIA spoke to Christine Rudolph about the sale, "There was tremendous interest in this property with over 60 groups inspecting the property over the three week campaign."
The owners, a prominent Brisbane orthopeadic surgeon and his lawyer wife had spend a decade aquiring the three houses in the unique location with views to the Brisbane River overlooking a valley filled with fig trees, frangipanis and pointsianas that can never be built out.

It was truly a family estate with three generations occupying the homes. The owners had D.A. approval for a new five-story home to be built on the site but had found another property.
According to Rudolph, It was meant to be; attending the very first open home, the new owners fell in love with the lush tropical landscape setting. They were swept away by the view overlooking trees rather than rooftops and realising it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire the unique piece of Brisbane real estate, offered an unconditional cash settlement in seven days.

"This has been an incredibly happy transaction for both buyers and sellers. It is just what the buyers had been searching for for their family while continuing the legacy of the present owners to preserve this unique parcel for the next generation as a very special family estate within 3Km of the CBD." Rudolph told WILLIAMS MEDIA.

Prestige property sales are a good barometer of the confidence of the local economy. With the historic Cintra House also selling to a local family for over $7 Million, this is the second prestige sale in a month, further underscoring confidence in Brisbane's future prosperity.
"The safety of our city, genuine warm Queensland hospitality and transformation of our river to accommodate five star developments such as the Howard Smith Wharves and the new Queens Wharf project have put us on the map.
And now, as Brisbane bid's for the 2032 Olympics, even more international attention will be drawn to our city." commented Rudolph.
