The home was purchased by a local buyer from the Eastern Beaches for $5,200,000, which was $400,000 over the price guide and $950,000 over the highest offer previously received last year by another agent.

The 1880s cottage was previously purchased by fashion designer Jodhi Meares in 2017.

Christophe told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND the current property market in the area is hot.

“This property sold for substantially more than the highest offer it received last year, $950,000 more, and a studio I just sold in Ramsgate Avenue Bondi set a Sydney record,” he said.
