“We had a number of different groups of buyers, mostly families looking to upsize and some families looking to downsize off larger land but still wanting a substantial 5/6 bedroom home,” Sarah explained.

Sarah told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND that a lack of stock was driving prices at the top end of the market.

“The market remains very resilient at the top and due to the lack of stock it is maintaining very solid prices, as growing families still need somewhere to live and buyers are still wanting to downsize as they are coming from homes on larger land but are not willing to compromise on the house size,” she explained.

“If the right home comes up in the right location they are still jumping on it.”
