It's not every day a home with a skate bowl in its living room finds new owners. Drew Davies of Place has just sold 32 Joynt Street, Hamilton with that particular facility.
Place Ascot Principal, Drew Davies, is excited to share 32 Joynt street, Hamilton has found new owners.
The property was on the market for an asking price of offers over $2.375 million and sold for around that amount.
“No surprises this luxury home made headlines when it hit the market because of its massive, pro-sized skate bowl in the living room,” said Mr Davies.
“We thought of many different uses for this unique selling point, including an underground wine cellar.
"Funnily enough, the local family who purchased it will likely convert the skate bowl into a large storage area.”

Mr Davies said the family chose the home for the quiet location yet being just four kilometres from the CBD and major arterial routes.
“The home sits on more than 900m2 – larger blocks becoming more popular with families following the isolation period during the peak of COVID-19,” said Mr Davies.
The master bedroom
The Joynt street property has had famous skaters use the bowl, including American professional, Tom Schaar, who trained in it when he last toured Australia.
“It was a rainy day and he couldn’t skate outside, so he came over to my place,” vendor, Justin Wood, said.
On the balcony
Mr Davies said he has an upcoming listing in a nearby street that is expected to gain strong interest.
