Tweed Heads West is fast becoming a boom area for young families, Brent Hodge of REAL Specialists told WILLIAMS MEDIA.

The lastest property sold by Mr Hodges was at 100 Jacaranda Ave, on the waterfront for $800,000.

"I had been dealing with the vendor for the past 3 months as she was going into aged care," said Mr Hodge.

"Once we found a place for her, I let a couple of people, that I had shown through the property, that it would soon be going on the market.

"We immediately got an unconditional offer for cash.

"There were also two other offers."

Mr Hodge said the Tweed Heads West area was seeing an influx of young families, like the new owners, coming to the area.

"There is good value in this area, as to get a waterfront home anywhere else you are looking at over $1 million," said Mr Hodge.

"Tweed Heads West isn't there yet, but more people are considering this area."

The property is a three-bedroom home with an open-plan design with a seamless flow through the indoor, outdoor, living, and dining areas whilst maximising the space available.
