The Coronis Group is proud to celebrate the record breaking success of the 2025 House for Life, where a stunning new build by Plantation Homes sold at auction for $2.45 million with 100% of proceeds donated directly to the Mater Little Miracles.
Saturday’s result smashed the previous record set in 2022, when the House for Life sold for $1,489,000. In total, Plantation Homes House for Life has now raised over $9m for the Mater Little Miracles, with Coronis proudly a part of multiple record setting campaigns.
Coronis Group CEO Karuna Mazzocchi said “it is an amazing result which is going to have a significant impact for all the Little Miracles and their families. We are so proud to support this incredible cause again and we already can’t wait for the next one!”
More than 300 people were at 43 Amulree St, Tarragindi on Saturday 5 April to witness the no-reserve auction. It was a thrilling event with 16 registered bidders each vying for the property. After a captivating back and forth, the winning bid came from a local family who viewed the home for the first time that very morning and immediately felt connected.
The four bedroom designer home was built by Plantation Homes and finished with premium inclusions including a butler’s pantry, SMEG appliances, in-ground pool, 7-star energy rating, as well as being sold fully furnished.
Coronis Sales Agent Solomon Michael said “it is special to know that every detail of the home had been donated by all of the very generous suppliers, right from the concrete poured to the final artwork hung. Thank you to Plantation Homes and every supplier for creating an incredible house that a family now call home.”
Beyond the home’s sale, a further $6,000 was raised through item auctions on the day, including luxury appliances and designer goods donated by supporting brands.
Karuna Mazzocchi said “Not only is a family going to move into a beautiful home, they’re going to help more ill and premature babies go home with their families. Real estate isn’t about property, it’s about people and to have so many people from across businesses and industries unite for a cause is incredible and we feel privileged to be a part of.”
The Coronis Group’s longstanding support of the Mater Little Miracles stems from their founder and chairman Andrew Coronis and his wife Anna’s deeply personal connection to the cause.
“In February 2001, my wife Anna and I faced one of life's most profound challenges when we said goodbye to our beloved son, Peter. Words cannot describe the pain we went through, and still do today. But the wonderful people at the Mater made a very traumatic time of sadness just that little bit better,” said Andrew.
Since then, the Coronis Group has very proudly supported the Mater through campaigns such as House for Life and the Coronis Foundation, which raised over $160,000 for Little Miracles last year.
The Coronis Group’s mission is to change people’s lives for the better. It’s safe to say the 2025 House for Life result will do this for the babies and families who need it most.
