The third book in the series follows those on Proportion and Detail, representing the three pillars of architecture. Defining Space showcases nine homes described in high-definition by photographer Luca Villata, illustrating how space can be captivated and managed.

“Michael’s designs were constantly in demand, and always he would move straight onto the next project, spending no time recording the completed home,” she said.

This is not the norm! I found Luca, an amazing photographer from Milan, Italy who could make a room vibrate with life.”
“Luca would spend a week or more capturing the correct light at the right time of day. In one of the beautiful homes, he spent 4 days capturing the light coming through a window over a marble staircase - to get the perfect shot,” Georgina told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.

Georgina selected the nine homes for the third book, ‘Defining Space’, as they were not discussed in the previous books, and they readily illustrate the concept of using space to create a harmonious interior.

There were no surprises as most of Michael’s clients enjoyed working with him and many would return over the years,” Georgina explained.
