The winners of this year's National Architecture Awards were revealed last night at an event at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney.
The winners of the Australian Institute of Architects' 2016 National Architecture Awards were revealed last night.
The jury this year comprised of Jon Clements (national jury chair), founding director of Jackson Clements Burrows Architects; Rodney Eggleston, founding director of March Studio; Abbie Galvin, principal, BVN; Fenella Kernebone, head of curation, TedxSydney; and Stuart Vokes, architect and director of Vokes and Peters.

John Sprunt of Architectus was one of last night's winners. "We’re thrilled to be honoured and recognised for our work on the Mandeville Centre, Loreto Toorak, in the prestigious AIA National Architecture Awards," he said.
"The design philosophy was simple and yet is timeless – a figured plan, an expressive tectonic, and above all a building informed by its heritage context," he said.
“The Mandeville Centre houses both teaching staff, the whole school library and year 12 classrooms, encouraging regular social and educational interaction in a light-filled indoor environment."
