Moley Robotics have created the world's first robotic kitchen, and it even cleans up afterwards!
What's going to be the next big thing in technology? Could it be the robotic kitchen? One thing I know for sure, it's something I would adore to have in my home.
Moley Robotics has invented the first fully automated and intelligent cooking robot. It cooks fresh food of any type, any time you need it, says the company's online video.
The robot's arms can 'learn' to mimic the movements of professional chefs. The most recent version of the technology used the movements of Masterchef winner Tim Anderson to teach the robot using motion-tracking gloves and wrist bands.
The robot even cleans up afterwards!
"I was dreaming about the machine which could cook almost any kind of dish in the world. Now it's here," says founder of Moley, Mark Olaynik.
Moley is developing a production model for the European market, and the robotic kitchen expected to be launched to the market in 2018. The company is attempting to raise 1 million pounds through crowdfunding.
