The 5 bedroom home was built in 1995 by the late David Edelman and sold by Grant Samuel of Kay & Burton.
Set on approximately 700 sqm, this Caulfield North family home was sold off market during Victoria’s Stage 4 restrictions by Kay & Burton’s Grant Samuel.
5 Glencoe Street Caulfield North was scheduled for a November Auction campaign post lockdown with an indicative price range of $3.2m - $3.5m.
Just one buyer was shown through the home, off-market, in May during Stage 2 restrictions. The property sold last week amid Stage 4 restrictions to that same buyer.
The 5-bedroom home was built in 1995 by the late architect David Edelman, a founding member of the Australian Architecture Association, and has been held by the existing vendors ever since. The vendors are now downsizing.
The young family who purchased the home had a baby between their initial inspection and purchase and were looking to upsize.
Grant Samuel from Kay & Burton told WILLIAMS MEDIA, "The family had been looking for a property for some time and knowing it was coming to market, with their change in circumstances and shortage of family homes in the area seized the opportunity to aquire a beautiful family home in a great location. They intend to stay there for the next 10 - 20 years."
