The 6-bedroom residence was purchased just 14 days into the Expressions of Interest Campaign by a buyer based in China who purchased it after a ‘virtual’ walkthrough, without physically seeing the property.
“There was a lot of Chinese interest in the property, fuelled by Kay & Burton’s extensive international database,” Anthony Comand told WILLIAMS MEDIA. “The property was listed at the height of the shutdown so initially people were cautious about physically inspecting, but once the initial uncertainty was over and potential buyers embraced the ’new normal’ there were 25 inspections. Most of the inspections were in-person one on one, with COVID-19 restrictions and strict social distancing observed.”
