McGrath Lindfield’s prestige specialist Glenn Curran has seen a significant increase in buyer activity since June
The Upper North Shore is starting to react to real estate’s busiest period, says McGrath Lindfield’s prestige specialist Glenn Curran.
“Momentum has definitely been building into Spring and I expect a strong quarter leading into the year end for prestige homes in this market,” said Mr Curran.
“Buyers who have been on the sidelines for the previous 12 months are now back and actively looking, as evidenced by the healthy clearance rates in recent weeks.”
Mr Curran said they are seeing a strong push from local buyers looking to upgrade.
“There are several families from the lower North Shore, in particular Mosman, that have been looking to relocate in anticipation of the start of the 2020 school year.
“These buyers see relative value at equivalent price points compared to what is available in the lower North Shore market.
“The top end of the prestige market in $10 million plus range has numerous buyers looking in key suburbs like Gordon and Killara.” Said Mr Curran.
Mr Curran’s history in sales on the Upper North Shore have included many important and prestigious homes.
These include 28 Wattle Street, Killara for $5.7 million; 18 Nelson Street, Gordon for $5.75 million; and 66 Springdale Road, Killara for $6.3 million.
