New Hyde Park development fetches high price off-the-plan.
The most expensive penthouse at ONE30 Hyde Park in Elizabeth Street in Sydney has just been sold off-the-plan for $9.72 million, which translates to $43,200 per square metre.
The buyer was a local, said agent Louie Bechara of Ecove, who also sold the first penthouse in ONE30 Hyde Park for $38,000 per square metre a few weeks ago.
“The purchaser of the penthouse wishes to remain anonymous. However, I can say that just like this purchaser, the vast majority of sales have been to local professional people who like the idea of living in a walk-to-work location," said Bechara. “The penthouse is a balance of intimate rooms and more extravagant spaces, while the balcony is perfect for entertaining friends with Sydney’s green heart as a backdrop, or for a relaxed alfresco family breakfast."
One bedroom apartments in the development are priced from $1,068,000, while two bedroom start at $2,188,000 and three bedrooms start from $3,128,000.
Work on the 38-level building will commence in February, with part of the development including a new entry for Museum Railway Station.
The project is the first Australian development from Aoyuan Property Group, one of the world’s largest property developers publicly listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
