REAP data covers sales, property management and expenses of agencies, which sets genuine benchmarks for the sector.
In the area of sales, Chris was able to use REAP Data to account for the variety of agent commission structures to give a real view of performance. In the real estate sector it is often hard to know how you are performing compared to competitor agencies, with REAP data it is possible to get un-inflated data. These are the real numbers. When pairing their data to the publicly available sales data, it is possible to see what the real, bottom line impacts are of the current trends.
In the area of property management, REAP is able to show the impact of a tight rental market on agencies. What is the overall impact of fewer re-leasings, increasing fixed wages for property managers and creeping rents? Well Chris shows us and it delivers us some very decisions that need to be made.
The third subject covered in the REAP Webinar, was the great unknown. An insight into what is happening with outgoings, like rent, expenses and fixed wages for administrative and support staff.
After this break down Chris stepped us through what the overall data tells us about the year that was FY22. He stepped through what the picture looked like in real terms, in profit, headcount and the cost of doing business.

He then offered up some very clear options on how every agency owner can make changes to their business to position themselves for success. Lastly, Chris took questions for attendees, giving advice and guidance on their circumstances, no doubt the questions that exist in the minds of many of those on the webinar.
