Promising to be the 'stinky-est' food festival in town, the Sydney 2022 edition of The Bon Fromage Festival was back in full swing and more ambitious than ever with one tonne of cheeses. It was a celebration for all cheese lovers, cheese educators and cheese creators!
Source: Bon Fromage FestivalTaking over the Cargo Hall (at the Overseas Passenger Terminal), the festival was launched last Friday with a four course VIP cheese lunch hosted Sydney cheese expert, Aurore Ghigo and featured unique creations by Karl Thomas, head chef of the Opera House and desserts by Pastry Chef Yves Scherrer from Madame & Yves Pastry.

Bon Fromage showcased about a dozen cheeses, including Comté, Cantal, Emmental, Brie, Camembert, Triple-Crème, Langres, Pont L’Évêque.

The celebration returns to Sydney between 14th and 17th of July 2022 with the French Bastille Festival occupying prime spots from The Rocks to Circular Quay. The four-day French food, wine and culture festival will showcase French cheeses, fine wines, sparkling champagne and crumbly croissants.
