Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) is urging real estate agencies to continue being vigilant as public health orders crackdown in every jurisdiction across Australia.
REIA President, Adrian Kelly said real estate agents and agencies have diligently applied the rules from the outset of COVID-19 and have, to date, no cases of community transition on our watch.
Mr Kelly urged agents to contact their local State or Territory Institute should they have any queries in relation to the current health orders in their jurisdictions.
“COVID-19 has been a rollercoaster time for property agents, investors and tenants so we are encouraging all to look after yourselves and each other and consult with your Institute should you need anything at all.
“While the real estate industry has benefitted from strong property growth during the pandemic, it has not been without its challenges and we continue to provide support and guidance to help real estate agents and agencies protect their clients and community,” he said.
