Developer PB&Co. announces fifty two black, an Australian- first project with furnishings exclusively by Ralph Lauren Home and interiors designed by Meg Sharpe.
Melbourne-based developer PB&Co. has announced Fifty Two Black, a luxury residential address with interiors designed by New York-based Meg Sharpe, and exclusively furnished in Ralph Lauren Home.
In what is an Australian-first, Fifty Two Black will offer four exclusive residences and one stunning penthouse ranging from 225sqm – 289sqm internally and priced from $6 million to $9 million AUD, each exquisitely appointed with furnishings and home accessories from the Ralph Lauren Home collection.
The interior design will draw upon the relaxed sophistication of Brighton, and each of the impeccably appointed residences will present a distinctive take on the rich heritage and timeless elegance of Ralph Lauren Home, evident in the fine china, crystal, silver and luxurious bed and bath linens that complete the finely furnished interiors.
Architecture for Fifty Two Black will be led by revered local architect, Nicholas Day, in collaboration with New York-based architecture firm, Gregory Tuck.
No expense has been spared for Fifty Two Black, with Gregory Tuck creating a rich tapestry of textures and luxe materiality, using over 10 different types of marble sourced from Italy, Spain and Africa throughout each home.
Tones of brass, silver and polished nickel will complement the chevron light oak floors and mosaic marble tiling, while iconic lighting, chandeliers and furniture pieces will create a sense of grandeur in every room.
Wrought iron entryways will make way for expansive ceilings up to 3.3m high, while other features include in-home tech automation, remote access for service and deliveries, hydraulic floor heating and cooling, and 24-hour security services.
Located in Brighton’s famed Church Street precinct, Fifty Two Black represents the embodiment of PB&Co.’s commitment to creating world-class properties with a global appeal.
Michael Pesochinsky, president of PB&Co., said Fifty Two Black would represent the ultimate in luxury residential living, showcasing the enduring style and exquisite craftsmanship of Ralph Lauren Home’s furnishings and design sensibility as realised through renowned interior designer Meg Sharpe and award-winning architects Nicholas Day and Gregory Tuck.
“The level of detail and sheer volume of furniture and accessories is unprecedented – all owners will need to bring with them is their toiletries, everything from the bathrobes and framed art to crockery and crystal will be hand selected and waiting for them.
“Melbourne’s luxury property market is incredibly sophisticated, and buyers are now looking to global benchmarks to inform their purchasing decisions. We recognise this movement towards global influence and Fifty Two Black is being developed in response to this shift.
“ Fifty Two Black will create a new standard for luxury living, offering future residents many amenities including a luxury concierge service and access to exclusive Ralph Lauren experiences.
“Property is no longer bound by the confines of traditional real estate; it is evolving to be informed by art, fashion, luxury and design. Fifty Two Black will be the epitome of these elements,” he said.
“Stepping into Fifty Two Black will be a transportive experience.” he said.
Alex Bragilevsky, Chief Executive Officer of PB&Co. said construction across the development was already underway.
“The project is fully funded and construction has already commenced late last year, with the development earmarked to reach completion in December 2021, giving residents even more certainty in the quality and delivery of Fifty Two Black,” he said.
