RESO the digital offer management tool saving agents time is fast becoming a popular platform to manage buyers and their offers for the property industry Williams Media talks with RESO CEO Kate Chalk.
Launched two years ago, Real Estate Sales Online (RESO) is fast becoming a popular platform for the property industry.
RESO CEO, Kate Chalk said the platform is different to others in that it allows agents to decide whether to rank offers unlike other auction- style online platforms.
Ms Chalk said the platform saves around nine hours of time when selling a property and is considered to be one of the best tools in the market to assist agents in managing buyers and their offers all in one place.
The aim of RESO is to give the buyers confidence in making offers whilst providing a more transparent process, ensuring every buyer feels they have had every opportunity to secure the property they are interested in buying.
RESO also offers a safe, online environment that offers a 24-hour document for all potential buyers to view and download all property documents and information.

It includes a simple and seamless method of selling and buying a property with an immediate SMS/email notification to buyers following agent communication.
RESO is integrated with most major CRM’s and REI forms to populate a contract at the click of a button- and is the only full suite SMART contracting platform of its kind.
Agents are also provided with a complete time-stamped and electronically generated vendor report outlining all buyers, offers, price terms and conditions, to share with the Vendor .
Ms Chalk said, “we want to help agents make both vendors and buyers to feel more comfortable in the process.
“All potential buyers are given the same opportunity to purchase the home.
“It also gives the vendors confidence that the agent has communicated with all interested parties and that they have achieved the best price for their property during the campaign.
“It is more efficient for agents who will no longer be wasting valuable time managing manual offers and who are much happier not having to deal with disgruntled buyers who felt they weren’t given every opportunity to submit their best offer on a property,” Ms Chalk said.

RESO’s point of difference is that it remains transparent. While giving agents the option of ranking the actual offers placed on the property.
For buyers, even if they were unsuccessful, they can be provided with some guidance via the ranking system prior to submitting their best and final offers, which also offers an element of education around market pricing- better preparing the next property they offer on.
Ms Chalk said because of the transparency, sellers see that agents have achieved the very best possible price for their home.
“RESO is not an open or searchable platform, and is completely reliable in that all buyers must agree to the terms and conditions and provide full name and details. Information provided on the platform at buyer registration ensures that each buyer can be better verified before any offer is made.

“The platform records the entire selling process and it’s free to register any property, with a fee only applying once the agent progresses the sale past registration of buyers ,” she added.
Ms Chalk concluded that RESO is expanding rapidly indicating it’s a proven asset for agents who are often regularly bombarded with new technology platforms. One of our new agents recently stated “RESO would have to be the best digital innovation that I have seen in the last 5 years.”
