Selling agent Kasey Pereira of REAL Specialists told WILLIAMS MEDIA there had been "enormous" interest in the penthouse leading up to its sale, indicating some positive sentiment amidst a challenging year for the market.

"The fact this property has sold for $1.7 million shows there is some strength in the market at the moment," he said.

"With prices like that and not a lot of properties on the market to compare it to, I think it is only going to get stronger."
