Hamish Bowman of Ray White New Farm predicts Victorians will make their way to the sunshine state to live post-lockdown.
One of the few positive outcomes from Covid-19 pandemic period Australia is that Queensland is emerging as the most liveable state, according to Ray White New Farm agent Hamish Bowman.
Mr Bowman told WILLIAMS MEDIA he had overseen the sale of three big ticket properties to NSW buyers in the last three months, including the penthouse and level three residence within the Maison New Farm development at 60 Moray Street.
He said the sales signalled the next step in a longheld fascination with the Queensland market from south of the border.

"For the last couple of years, sellers have asked agents like me to find southern buyers," he said.
"The talk has finally turned into action, with the somewhat irregular interest from Sydney buyers becoming a trend where properties are being transacted," he said.
Mr Bowman said Victorian house hunters weren't far behind in terms of their level of enquiry for the sunshine state.
“At Ray White New Farm, we’re already in discussions with Victorian’s who are thinking of packing up and moving," he said.

"They know that Brisbane has grown up and is becoming an international city.
"They also tend to buy in places such as Noosa sight unseen because they holiday there and they know it.
"We are getting calls from Melbourne buyers referring sellers that we know to Victorian agents because they are committed to making a permanent move.
"I am confident the Brisbane and Queensland markets are looking good as we move into 2021."
