The second highest sale for a property in Miami-Dade County, which incorporates Miami Beach, for builder Stuart Miller.
The newly built mansion at 22 Star Island Drive, Miami Beach has excited the American real estate industry by selling with a price tag of US$49.5 million.
South Florida's real estate news website The Real Deal has reported the sale, saying the property was built by well-known local builder Stuart Miller, who owns a number of properties on Star Island.

The property consists of a 17,000 square foot modern estate with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and an additional 6,000 square foot, two bedroom guest house.
The guest house had been built in 1931, and after plans to knock it down caused an uproar with preservationists, Mr Miller moved it from one side of the property to the other.
Mr Miller's son David Miller and David Solomon, both of Berkshire Hathaway HomeService EWM Realty were involved in the off-market deal.
The builder was Todd Michael Glaser and Domo Architecture + Design were the designers.
Interior design was undertaken by Dunagan Diverio Design Group.
Another sale in the Star Island precinct includes 10 Star Island in 2019 for $17.5 million which occurred late last year.
The 22 Star Island sale came second to 3 Indian Creek Island Road in early 2019 which sold for $49.9 million.
