Herron Todd White's Month in Review report have featured a number of luxury homes that have gone against the trend and made it to market and/or sold.
While properties in the middle of the range are increasing in their listing according to a recent report by SQM Research, Darren Curtis of luxury home agency Ken Jacobs Double Bay, said there is still a gap in the market for properties at the higher end.
"There is a lack of good quality stock," said Mr Curtis.
"There has been an increase in transaction since the election and while the auctions have a higher clearance rate, there have been fewer properties."
