Whitsunday real estate market ready to make waves at Race Week

Hamilton Island will be showcased to a global audience this month as part of the 2019 Airlie Beach Race Week: Festival of Sailing and the Hamilton Island Race Week.
However, the racing season is not just about what happens in the water, with the property market also garnering interest during the festivities.
Queensland Sotheby's International Realty Senior Sales Executive Carol Carter said the Hamilton Island Race Week brought a discerning clientele to the area, many of whom look to make a real estate investment in the region.
“Race Week sees more and more people falling in love with the area,” she said.
“Many of these are looking at investing in a holiday home or moving to the area.”
