Sydney Fish Markets will be redeisgned by Danish architects 3XN Architects, who are also designing Quay Quarter Tower.
Danish architects 3XN Architects have been chosen to design the redeveloped Sydney Fish Markets.
3XN are also responsible for designing Quay Quarter Tower, part of the revitalisation of Sydney's Circular Quay precinct.
The new fish market will be built around the corner from the existing facility, and the $250 million required to build the new site will come from selling the old site for a high-rise residential development.

3XN was chosen after a tender process begun by the state government last year.
The redesign is expected to double the visitor capacity of the fish markets, and will also address traffic congestion concerns in the area.
Work is expected to begin in late 2018, and is expected to take approximately three years to build.
