After 16 years at the helm of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, Enzo Raimondo is leaving.
After 16 years at the helm of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, CEO Enzo Raimondo has announced he is leaving the organisation to take up another role in the property industry.
Raimondo is the REIV’s longest-serving CEO. Prior to his appointment at the REIV, Raimondo was CEO of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia.
"It's been 16 wonderful years, I've thoroughly enjoyed it," Raimondo told The Real Estate Conversation. "It was a pleasure representing the profession in Victoria and elsewhere. It feels like it's part of my DNA."
Raimondo said that when he first moved from Adelaide to Melbourne in 2000, he thought he'd be at the REIV for three to five years before returning to Adelaide. "It's been a wonderful joruney," he said of his 16 years in the role as CEO.
Raimondo said he will remain in Melbourne, but couldn't yet say where he would work next. "It's not a real estate office or a professional real estate network, but it is in property," he said.
To ensure continuity within the Institute, REIV President Geoff White will step in as Acting CEO from mid-May, working alongside Mr Raimondo. This will deliver a smooth transition while an executive search for a new CEO takes place.
"His efforts are to be commended and have greatly increased the profile of the sector and members’ interests," said White of Raimondo.
Under Raimondo’s leadership, the REIV has introduced compulsory CPD for members, and launched a range of digital products, including propertydata.com.au and realestateview.com.au.
