Take a look at Elton John's new Benedict Canyon estate.
Elton John and husband David Furnish have splashed $33 million on an enormous luxury gated estate in Beverly Hills, California. Set on nearly 20 acres, the three-story Mediterranean villa has no fewer than seven bedrooms, three en suite staff bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and 12 half bathrooms.
It also comes with an 11-car subterranean garage, a lighted tennis court with viewing pavilion, and a pool house.
The home was custom built in 2001 by Guess co-founder Armand Marciano, who first listed it for sale in 2011 with an asking price of $63 million.
Variety reports that John and Furnish maintain a rock star-style portfolio of international properties including a home in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills picked up in 2012 for $7.2 million, a 12,000-plus square-foot duplex penthouse in Atlanta, a lavish villa atop Mont Boron in Nice, a downright monarchical country estate in Old Windsor west of London and a townhouse in London’s Holland Park.
