Australian projects shortlisted for the 2015 World Architecture Festival Awards and 2015 INSIDE Festival of Interiors Awards.
Australia has 37 projects shortlisted for the 2015 World Architecture Festival Awards, making Australia the best represented of the 46 countries with finalists in the global architecture awards program.
The Australian firms shortlisted include Denton Corker Marshall, Iredale Pedersen Hook Architects, COX Architects, Hames Sharley, Conrad Gargett, Lyons, FMD Architects, Woods Bagot, JCY Architects & Urban Designers, Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp, John Wardle Architects, BVN, Allen Jack + Cottier Architects, Misho + Associates, Andrew Maynard Architects, Shane Thompson Architects, Architects Corner, MHN Design Union, Lippmann Partnership, McBride Charles Ryan, NH Architecture, JCY Architects & Urban Designers, Nettleton Tribe, BKA Architecture, Greenbox Architecture and Fiona Winzar Architects.
Australia also has seven projects in the shortlist for the 2015 INSIDE Festival of Interiors Awards, a global interior design prize that will run concurrently with the 2015 World Festival of Architecture.
In the Health and Education category at the INSIDE Awards, all four shortlisted projects are Australian, with two of those projects coming from the same practice, John Wardle Architects. Other Australian nominees include Pedra Silva Architects, Philips/Pilkington Architects, Cox Rayner Architects, Hames Sharle, March Studio, BVN and Hassell.
Winners in both competitions will be announced in November in Singapore.
