Construction has just commenced on the $1 billion Brisbane Skytower.
Construction work has just started on what will be Brisbane CBD’s tallest tower, Brisbane Skytower. Located at 222 Margaret Street, the $1 billion tower will measure 274 metres and be the third tallest in Australia behind Q1 on the Gold Coast and Eureka Tower in Melbourne.
The 90 storey building, a joint Billbergia and AMP Capital project, will house the second highest habitable units in Australia. It will include more than 1100 apartments and a sky recreation deck on the 89th floor with Australia’s highest infinity-edge pool.
Brisbane Skytower is scheduled for a 2019 completion.
