A slideshow of America's 10 most expensive homes on the market.
Every man's house is his castle—some houses just look a lot more like castles. Known as Palazzo di Amore, the 25-acre Beverly Hills estate of billionaire property investor Jeff Greene was listed for $195 million late last year, the most expensive public listing in the U.S. The staggering price tag buys 12 bedrooms and 23 bathrooms, a 24-car garage, a vineyard and an entertainment complex that sports a bowling alley and a rotating dance floor. “When you consider the value of the land and the quality of the construction . . . $195 million is really quite reasonable,” Greene told The New York Times of the asking price.
