What the digital world has allowed businesses to do is to get a better understanding of clients, which of course is important when selling property.
As you may know by now, Di Jones Real Estate won the 2015 award for Excellence in Digital Marketing from the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW). This award was not a fluke. It has been a space the entire team has worked extremely hard on to get the look and feel of our digital platform right. Like any business, it is important to closely monitor the success and many different facets of that business.
Since the launch of the new website, the number of people viewing our site has increased from 7,000 to an astounding 60,000 visits per month. When accessing some of the data we found some interesting statistics. These type of statistics were not previously available to us and provides a new and more direct way to truly understand the demographics of our buyers.
Here are some of the key findings over the past 6 months:
• 61% of our website site views are female
• 39% of our website views are male
• 55.49% of website views came from desktops
• 33.93 of website views came from mobiles
• 10.57% pf mobile views came from tablets
Our marketing and IT team have worked extremely hard to make our website compatible with desktop, mobile and tablet formats so as to not jeopardise the viewing experience for potential purchasers and keeping the marketing as uniform as possible for our vendors. Digital marketing is a space that is growing and will only continue to grow. The statistics below show just how rapidly this space has grown over the past decade alone. What the digital world has allowed businesses to do is to get a better understanding of clients which of course is important when selling property.
Knowing why, when and how to use this media space to sell what is typically our clients’ biggest asset is paramount.
