The post-earthquake reconstruction of Guangming Village, China, has won House of the Year at the World Architecture Festival, while Iredale Pedersen's Fitzroy Crossing Renal Hostel won Best Use of Colour, and Allen Jack+Cottier Architects and NH Architecture's Sydney Fish Markets won Future Project of the Year.
The World Architecture Festival 2017 has concluded in Berlin, with the awarding of the World Building of the Year 2017 prize to The Chinese University of Hong Kong's post-earthquake reconstruction of Guangming Village, Zhaotong in China.
Australia took out another two prizes.
Iredale Pedersen Hook Architects award as the Best Use of Colour prize for Fitzroy Crossing Renal Hostel, and Allen Jack+Cottier Architects and NH Architecture won Future Project of the Year for their Sydney Fish Markets design.
