Goldeneye Media is spearheading the campaign for Katie Page's highly anticipated Gold Coast development, M3565.
Designed by well-known Sydney architect, Virginia Kerridge, M3565 is a whole-floor beachfront development on Main Beach - the first of its kind in more than 25 years. The project is being hailed for its impeccable design and strong environmental credentials.
There are only seven residences in M3565, six large three-bedroom plus study apartments, and a two-storey penthouse with rooftop pool on the sandline in the tightly held beachside precinct where Harvey Norman CEO Page and her husband, Gerry Harvey, have owned a home for many years.
“We have been planning this building for a very long time," said Page.
"It is the most beautiful, amazing block of land – it is the dream. To be able to wake up in the morning and be on the beach in an area that is so different to the rest of the Gold Coast is really quite an extraordinary experience,” she said.
Kerridge says the extensive use of contemporary finishes, such as tinted concrete, timber shutters and zinc, sets the building apart from others on the Gold Coast.
"The brief was to create something that was really a special building in the area - so something that set it apart from other buildings that are there and create a great standard for others to follow,” said Kerridge.
“Virginia loves environmental architecture, which is the kind of design that understands finishes and how they should respond to their environment not just when they are completed but in twenty years time," said Page.
Main Beach is highly prized on the Gold Coast, because it is quieter and more exclusive beachfront than neighbouring suburbs.
Selling agent Robert Graham from Ray White Surfers Paradise says he is particularly excited at the prospect of marketing a building that has been so highly anticipated.
“A relaxed floorplan with a timeless design in a genuinely exclusive building is unlike anything Main Beach buyers have been offered before,” he said.
“They are going to capture attention from people the world over seeking a new level of sophistication in lifestyle property.”
