When Ben Pryde from Raine and Horne Mollymook Milton released 18 blocks of land near Dolphin Point for sale on the weekend, all properties were sold within hours
When Ben Pryde from Raine and Horne Mollymook Milton released 18 lots in the Seaside Estate near Burrill Lake on the weekend, all properties were sold within hours.
“The first 16 blocks sold before lunchtime,” said Pryde.
Pryde said the properties are in a highly sought-after location, particularly the latest offering which are the closest blocks of land to the sea in the whole district.
Interested parties had registered in the preceding months, he said, and the lots were only released for sale on Saturday.
“When [interested parties] were contacted via email on Saturday morning, they were quick to snap up their blocks,” said Pryde.
The first three stages of the subdivision also sold quickly. One more stage remains to be sold, but remains "a while off" said Pryde.
Pryde expects Dolphin Point to boom once a new bridge is built.
“The new bridge and all the landscaping and pathways will bring a fresh feel to the village – I think it will be buzzing!” he said.
“It’s a top spot, especially if you love swimming, fishing and surfing,” he said.
