Japanese designer, Nendo, has developed pet products that won't detract from minimalist homes.
Nendo design studio is known for its huge range of minimalist products. Now, pets needn't feel left out.
The Japanese design group has two ranges of dog homes and toys that won't look out of place in even the most sophisticated of minimalist homes.
The Heads or Tails range consists of a three-piece dog accessory collection, consisting of a bed, dishes and toys. The construction is based on a design of triangular panels connected by mesh. The dog house folds down to become a bed, the bone can be squashed into a ball, and the water bowl, if turned up-side-down, can be used for food. The Heads or Tails range is available in the chic-est of palettes: black or white.
The Cubic range is available in a range of four muted tones that can be combined. The boxy shape is designed to fit in with modern, linear architecture. The range, again, consists of a toy, house, and bowl.
"The majority of pet products are roundish and cute. However, they aren't often suited to interior spaces with walls, floors, ceilings, windows and furniture designed mostly in a linear manner," said the Nendo web site.
"With this issue in Mind, (Nendo's) pet products are designed with a variety of functions, emphasising compatibility with interior elements."
