Sky News and REA Group are tapping into Australia's love of real estate with a new TV show.
Australian News Channel, owner of Sky News, and REA Group, the owner of Australia's largest real estate website, have teamed up to create a new television program about Australian property.
The new show will be called Sky News Real Estate, and will be aired on Saturday mornings between 9am and 2pm from later this month. The show will be anchored by Sky News Business anchor Bridie Barry, and will feature live auctions, advice for home buyers, sellers and investors, home improvement advice, information about architecture, and, of course, dream homes.
Advice from experts in the field will provide a showcase for some of the colourful characters in real estate. Live auctions are likely to make compelling viewing.
ANC CEO, Angelos Frangopoulos said, "Australians have an undeniable passion for property. We are delighted to be partnering with REA Group and its leading property site, realestate.com.au for Sky News Real Estate, a dedicated television destination we hope will inspire and inform Australians about the real estate market."
REA Group SEO, Tracey Fellows, commented, "We understand that property is more than bricks and mortar, it gives us a sense of place and a feeling of belonging. Sky New Real Estate taps into Australia's obsession with property - it's all about the entertainment of real estate."
