Divvy Parking connects commuters with under-utilised car-parking spaces in CBD office towers, hotels, and shopping centres.
Divvy Parking has announced a partnership with TFE Hotels, which will see Divvy's smart parking solution rolled out across a number of TFE's hotels around Sydney.
This deal is the latest in a string of partnerships for Divvy, which has expanded its network following a significant investment from the NRMA.
TFE Hotel’s portfolio includes Adina, Travelodge, and Vibe, and will add nine new locations to Divvy’s parking footprint in the Sydney CBD.
“We’re able to offer our guests a better parking experience, while making the most of unused car spaces and effectively sharing an increasingly scarce resource in the city,” said Rachel Argaman, CEO of TFE Hotels.
"We’re looking forward to rolling the solution out across our portfolio and also implementing new services on the platform that will delight our guests.”
Many CBD hotel car parks are under-utilised, so the partnership between Divvy and TFE Hotels will make these spaces visible to the general public, and allow the spaces to be booked at competitive rates.
For TFE Hotels, the Divvy partnership allows the group to better use its hotel assets and improve its yield, while at the same time helping the community and commuters.
Nick Austin, CEO and founder of Divvy Parking, said, “This is a perfect example of how we can create efficiencies using existing infrastructure through smart technology.”
Eight more hotels near Sydney’s CBD, in Rushcutters Bay, Chippendale, Coogee, Manly-Warringah and North Ryde, are expected to be added to the Divvy network by February 2017.
