Basketball legend Michael Jordan still can't sell his house.
While the world is captivated watching today's sporting heros competing in Rio at the 2016 Olympic games, spare a thought for those athletes who've faded from the spotlight, including Michael Jordan, who still can't sell his house.
The former NBA basketballer has had his Highland Park, Illinois mansion on the market since 2012. The nine bedroom, 15 bathroom home is currently listed for US$14,855,000 (the numbers add up to 23, which was Jordan's basketball jersey number while playing NBA). The property was originally listed for $29 million in 2012.
Despite some bold marketing from real estate agent Kofi Nartley of The Agency in Beverly Hills, including videos in Mandarin, the home has failed to attract a buyer, probably due to its enormous size and the fact it is located north of Chicago, rather than in New York or Los Angeles.
