Architecture’s ability to contribute to the public realm on display in latest Victorian design.
The Australian Institute of Architects Victorian Chapter has announced the shortlist for the 2016 Victorian Architecture Awards, which will be announced on June 24 at a presentation at Peninsula at Central Pier, Docklands. From 198 entries, 70 individual projects across 15 categories have been shortlisted.
In making their selections, the jurers noted a focus on community was evident across all categories.
The 2016 Victorian Architecture Awards entries will be exhibited at No Vacancy gallery, QV, from June 7 to 19.
