The Real Estate Institute of Victoria held their 2015 Awards for Excellence last night in Melbourne.
The Real Estate Institute of Victoria held their 2015 Awards for Excellence last night with a record number of nominations across several award categories.
"These annual awards are an industry highlight and acknowledge the hard work and effort that our members put in throughout the year to achieve the best results for their clients and the property industry," said REIV chief executive officer Enzo Raimondo. "Importantly, these awards also recognise the agents and their businesses who are constantly raising the bar – lifting professional standards to the highest levels and contributing to best practice in real estate sales and management."
The 2015 awards also recognised the tireless dedication of Ian Armstrong, who was granted an Honorary Life Membership for his service to the real estate profession in Victoria. "Mr Armstrong has been an active member of the REIV for more than 40 years, and during that time he has served on numerous Board, Division and Chapter Committees, including as President of the REIV in 1988-89," said Raimondo. "We are honored to induct Mr Armstrong as a life member."
The REIV President’s Award for 2014 was presented to Neil Laws, who has also served as a President of the REIV (2007-08) and on a number of committees, including the Auction Chapter Committee.
