Di Jones Real Estate are major sponsors of The Life Ball to benefit St Vincent's Hospitals in NSW.
With a lot of local knowledge of who's living and working in their communities, real estate agents can play an important social role in actively engaging in an area's cultural life. In Sydney's eastern suburbs, Di Jones Real Estate is actively engaged with the local community, which is why they're a major sponsor of the Life Ball this evening at the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay.
Now in its fourth year, The Life Ball is presented by the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation, the fundraising organisation for St Vincent’s Hospitals in NSW. The other major sponsors of the Life Ball are Vogue and Qantas.
The Life Ball brings guests together for a gala dinner in celebration of the St Vincent’s community and to raise funds for a specific project at St Vincent’s each year. This year the Ball will support the fundraising campaign to build a new Haemotology/Bone Marrow Transplant Ward at St Vincent’s Public Hospital and establish St Vincent’s as the Centre for Excellence for Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplants in NSW.
The campaign to raise $5.2 million was launched at the Life Ball last year, and the St Vincent’s Curran Foundation has since secured $4.2million toward this goal. It is hoped that through further major donation pledges and fundraising on the evening, the target will be achieved at this year’s event.
Guests attending will enjoy a night of music and entertainment including guest of honour and St Vincent’s Curran Foundation Ambassador, Delta Goodrem, and there will be Live and Silent Auction items on offer which will help to raise funds for essential services such as a new Bone Marrow Transplant ward at St Vincent’s Hospital.
