A spectacular home in far north Queensland was awarded the 2015 State House of the Year.
The Edge, a luxurious Port Douglas home which overlooks Four Mile Beach, has won the top award at this year’s Master Builders State Housing & Construction Awards in Queensland.
Built by La Spina Homes, the stunning Charles Wright-designed home was recognised as the best in Queensland building and awarded the 2015 State House of the Year.
Other winners included Lendlease Building who took home the 2015 State Project of the Year for their Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane. Valeco Homes’ Freemantle Display Home at North Lakes won the 2015 State President’s Award, which acknowledges an extraordinary home that everyday Queenslanders can aspire to.
