The Real Estate Institute of Queensland is giving industry professionals the opportunity to learn from the best at its 2017 Sales Success Series.
The informal evening of networking, drinks and canapes will include a talk by guest speaker, organisational psychologist Kelly Maniatis about building resilience in both yourself and your sales team.
Maniatis specialises in helping sales professionals create the right 'head space' for success. She will also talk about coping with rejection, and turning it into a force for good.
The Sales Success Series will be hosted by entertaining real estate speaker and trainer Peter Brewer, and is designed specifically for agents to master the advanced sales skills required for a successful career.
Other speakers will share the secrets of their winning career strategies, and will include:
- Justin Nickerson (Australasian Auctioneer of the Year, REIQ Auctioneer of the Year, and REIQ Mentor)
- Brett Greensill (Principal, LJ Hooker New Farm)
- Anne Fidler (REIQ Salesperson of the Year 2017).
REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said the Sales Success Series was designed to help agents get more leads and close the deal.
“Real estate is a great job, but sometimes the day to day grind of cold calling and door knocking can be dispiriting," she said.
"Presenting and pitching for business is crucial in this game, and if you’re looking for tips on how to improve, then the Sales Success Series can help."
Mercorella said the session will help agents "become tougher, stronger and better at what they do".
The event will take place on 22 February, 6.30 PM - 8.00 PM, at Factory 51.
The cost is $45 for members and $55 for non-members.
