McGrath has opened an office in Yeronga, an inner-city suburb of Brisbane.
McGrath has demonstrated its confidence in the South East Queensland property market with the opening of an office in the Brisbane inner-city suburb of Yeronga.
McGrath has identified the region as set for strong capital growth. With property prices booming in Sydney and Melbourne, strong infrastructure spending in the region, and the growing popularity and amenity of satellite cities, South East Queensland, and particularly the 'golden triangle', appear poised for growth. The region's 2015 price growth was relatively slow, so there could also be a degree of catch up.
The so called 'golden triangle' stretches from Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, to Toowoomba on the Darling Downs, and then down to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. It's approximately the area within an hour's drive of Brisbane.
The new office will be headed up by Sharon Wilson, who has 25 years' property experience, and has been recognised in the top 5% of agents in Australia for the RE/MAX.
Yeronga sits in an elevated position on the Brisbane River and has a diverse range of properties, from university accommodation to luxury riverfront homes. The suburb is only 5km from Brisbane's CBD.
The opening is McGrath's 71st office, and its sixth in Brisbane.
